Where to find legit Medical Transcriptionist work fom home jobs?

We Answered:

Visit your hospital's HR department - see if they can use you.
Visit doctors offices and see if they need help.
I know someone that does this.
They pick up their work once a day in the mornings and drop it off by 2pm.
As for online - expect scams - and lots of them.

Where can I find a medical transcriptionist job right after graduating training?

We Answered:

Working from home isn't probably going to happen unless you have several years of experience.

You could check local hospitals, or try for a job in a doctor's office.

How does a person get a medical transcriptionist as a job? Where should I apply if I decide to be one?

We Answered:

if you want to work and get good pay i think you should meet the right people and get your self a cool pay of $3,500 weekly try the Group VENUS INTERNATIONAL VENTURES LIMITED. i work there and its a big medical lab which is now turning into a big hospital and there are space for employment now, well you are so lucky to have had this come your way, the pay is big and reasonable enough to live a comfortable life, you don't need a certificate all you need is just to mental stability and could be able to communicate properly, my aunt introduced me to an agent the helped me get the job maybe you could try and stop asking for money., i work there so if you wish to get a job there you can try one of there agent, Mr Craig (crag_marks@yahoo.com) and stop asking for money.

medical transcriptionist jobs?

We Answered:

I did medical transcription in the 1990s. Things are much different now.

Many doctors no longer have transcriptionists in that they either use EMR (electronic medical records) and type the notes with the patient in the room or they have voice recognition software and the computer types the report as they dictate it. Many doctors now outsource overseas, especially India. It is less expensive and with the time difference they can leave at 5 pm and have the reports on their desk ready to sign at 8 am the next morning. Some doctors have brought it back here in recent years in part because it is tough to bring someone over to testify in case of a law suit.

Before you decide do a lot of research. Do an informational interview of the lady you know working from her home. Is she an employee or does she have her own business? How did she get her start? Where did she train? Contact all the medical staffing agencies in your area and find out whether or not they need transcriptionists. If so, the most important thing to ask them is which training program doctors want. Some companies won't hire graduates from certain schools.

I know teach medical billing and coding and a lot of ladies are taking this course as they want to work from home. It can be a really tough field to get into. Your most economical options would be your local junior college, adult school and ROP programs. The private schools are usually the most expensive. I don't know anyone who hires graduates of online programs.

Write back if you have other questions.

Hospitals normally post these jobs on their internal job sites. Also, you can sign up with a nurse staffing agency.
