There are many many victims of Watch Tower anti higher education propaganda.
Many JWs did not send their children to college particularly through the 1960's & 70's. Going to college was out of the question because all time and effort was geared toward soliciting bible studies door-to-door.
1975 or shortly thereafter was the End was the thought much encouraged by the Watch Tower.
The greatest thing a JW could do was sell everything, cash in everything, and 'pioneer' which is fulltime solicitation to gain followers for the Watch Tower.
