Why do my feet hurt every morning? We Answered:
Now I think I can help you with this. I suffered for many years with very painful feet first thing in the morning. It started with my feet but got worse until it was all my joints. I ended up having to soak in the bath for about an hour before I could get fully upright. I went to the docs loads and saw consultants but nobody came up with anything except Fibromylagia but my symptoms were not a perfect fit. Then I had a food sensitivity test. I eliminated the foods but didn't for a minute think my joint pain would be affected. Three days after I started the elimination I got out of bed in the morning and to my absolute astonishment I was totally free of pain everywhere. Foolishly thinking that my doctor would be interested in this apparent miracle I rushed to the surgery to tell them the good news (thinking it would help when people turned up with the same or similar symptoms) where I was summarily dismissed - the doctor was not in the slightest bit interested. Give it a go - it worked for me and I got loads of other benefits too such as increased energy, effortless weight loss (which has never gone back on), clear skin and emotional stability.Duane Said:
Change into protective clothing in work time or empoyee's time? UK answers please.?We Answered:
it depends on what your union has negotiated, but in your case if you work inside an operating theatre you change in the room provided otherwise any employer can expect his workforce to be booted and suited and at the work position at the start of shift, and at the end of shift 3 Min's washing up time before clocking offWendy Said:
What to wear for a job interview? We Answered:
What ever you choose, suit, black pants, ect....Make sure your shoes are very nice and maintained, and accessories, accessories, accessories!!! Do not over do it but wearing a scarf, jewlery, nice bag really makes you look put together and it shows that you care about how you look and take time to make sure everything is right. Also wear a nice scent, but something light. There is nothing worse then trying to conduct an interview and when the person leaves you smell them for another hour. Wear lipstick, apply right before you go in and smile smile smile!! (check your teeth!) Be as comfortable as possible, if you are nervous you will look less confidant, go in thinking I have nothing to lose just be me!
Good Luck!

Job interview in 4 hours please help me!?We Answered:
Hey, i used to work in recruitment for a few yrs! However not recruited for NHS.
But, i would say things like you are a good listener, easy to talk to, assesrtive butcan have a calming influence or something - (incase you have some irrate on the phone), explaing you are a caring person, you like helping and looking after people.
In an interview, remember they are under pressure too, they want to get it right too, just like you, they want to ask right Q's and get best from you, not scare you!
Be cinfident, offer handshke even if they dont - which is unlikely.
Same when you leave, make time to thank them for seeing when you stil have their attention, at the end, be confident and say, you are even more interested and would still very much like to be considered for the role.
Prepare Q's, if yo really cant think of anything when they ask if you have any, just refer back to a couple of theres,. even if its a fib, but say, i was actually wanting ask X and Y but you covered it in enough detail for me, so there isnt anything else i feel i need to ask at this stage - they will see you had thought to ask but you also complimented their Q's too lol!
Hope this helps a bit.
Be confident, not arrogant, but sell yourself, you need them to want you!
Take another opy of your CV with you as a point of reference for yourself and another copy to re-offer them just in case - also any certificates or portfolio you may have with certificates or courses in it.
Good luck xx

Job interview - (NHS direct) - telephone test?We Answered:
Iv never done a NHS direct telephone interview, but i have done a telephone interview for other jobs. All i can say is they may take you by surprise, make sure that you speak clearly and in a friendly tone and think before you speak.
They phoned me once for an telephone interview and it was on a sunday morning, i had a hangover and wasn't really awake, needless to say i got an interview and got the job (don't know why!??!)
Good luck!
ps i was thinking about applying for NHS direct job in my area, so i'll check back in case you get the job to see what it's like!.
ps the first answer is right, they'll ask you questions and grade you on them, i think you get a formal interview if you make the grade.
