Public Health??We Answered:
Public Health is a great field. You can work for the government, state department of health which has so many different branches such as Epidemiology, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, health statistics, etc.. umm.. the state lab, where they actually obtain samples from the field (i.e. animals, rats, flies, etc), or blood from newborn babies for potential diseases, there is also a branch where you can work with the Indian reservations since it has a high health risk potentials, immigration & TB testing, etc etc....However, the downside is that there is a lot of bureacracy since public health is directly related to the government/ FBI etc. Example. when there is an outbreak, it must go to through the dept of health and give what information is allowed before the media gives a report in order to prevent people freaking out. It depends on what you like. Personally, I'd like to work with the WHO and travel too.
