Julie Said:
Will a middle school suspension affect my overall career? We Answered:
It's doubtful that this will have a major effect on your high school career. High school teachers and admin. will likely have a document in your records that they can review, but if you aren't a source of disruption and do what they say, I don't think they'll be concerned. And like some other people have said here, colleges and jobs usually concentrate on what you did during high school, not middle school. If you spend your high school years building up a resume of good academics, extracurricular activities, and good networking skills (and of course, no more incidents like this), this will hardly be a blip when people really start to pay attention to you.

How important is a job during your high school career to college admission? We Answered:
I don't believe public schools can ask about employment, but I suppose private schools can.Doubt it would matter much though unless your employer has negative things to say about you as most universities will be more concerned about your academic history. Not having a job would show that you have more time to devote to learning.

What are some courses and classes to take during high school that will help me pursue a career in architectureWe Answered:
Your plan seems fairly complete. The only other classes I would recommend is art classes, specifically sketching and pen/pencil drawing. Be sure to save some of you best works in art classes for your portfolio. Public speaking is also a great skill to learn now. In a university, for every studio course you will need to be speaking in front of others, sometimes very large groups of people about your designs and the more comfortable you are in front of others, the better your ideas come across. If you HS doesn't give public speaking courses, try taking a course in acting/performing.However, remember not to pigeon-hole yourself too much. Architecture uses a broad knowledge base, including but not limited to sociology, biology, earth sciences, mathematics, art, human behavior, history, etc...
You are also still young and there is plenty of time that you might find a different passion. In this case, although you may think it unlikely, you will be kicking yourself for not taking a broad range of courses so that you have the ability to change you path later on.
Good luck, and enjoy your studies.

What do I have to do and take in my school career to become a University Professer in Music+Psychology? We Answered:
You cannot hope to get a university teaching job of any kind with only a high school diploma. As for eventually teaching at a university, you will almost certainly need graduate training in some area after finishing a college degree. Much depends on what you hope to teach. Music performance? Music Theory or Musicology? Composition?
Young, serious perfomance musicians generally attend schools of music after high school. Universities certainly do offer music departments and majors, and these may allow some performance classes to be counted as part of a major; performance teachers are expert musicians themselves and have simply acquired excellent reputations as pedagogues. But many faculty in these departments are music theorists and musicologists, or music historians, and they hold PhDs.
To get a sense of the credentials of such faculty, see the Music department at the university below. (I attended this university, which is why I picked this site to show you.) Click on "People" and then on "Faculty". Then, read through the information about the faculty members' education and training.

How many APs is ideal to take in your high school career? We Answered:
Take as many. Even self-study. I currently self-study and only take one at my school. Preparing is the best way; but in the long run take challenges and as many as long as you don't basically commit suicide.Dana Said:
