If you don't want to waste time or money, then it's a good thing that you are considering International Business (or any business major).

However, unless you are graduating from top university, one must major in specific majors to get great jobs upon graduation.

If you look at Businessweek's ranking of Best Place to Start Your Career, accounting firms rule the top of the rankings.

It is mainly because the field of accounting is expected to grow in the near future regardless of current state of our economy.

Wall st crisis means more regulation, and this increases demands for CPAs. Also, there is a talk of changing US accounting rules to match what the rest of the world is using. Therefore the demand for CPAs are only going to increase.

Also note that the reason why those firms rank on top of these rankings are mainly attributed to size of offers for entry level employees. (in addition to fantastic career aspect)

I would choose modeling, why, because you'll never be happy being a cashier, and you couldn't help anyone. However, if you are a model, you would be happier and you could use your money to help people (although most choose not to...). Also being a model doesn't necessarily mean you have no voice or hearing, in fact you would be told some of the most important things going on in life, and models can easily make their voice heard much more than a cashier (but once again, they choose not too normally because they can't be bothered or they don't have anything interesting to say that they care about)

The good thing is you know what your problems are you need to get some counsilling asap to work your problems out, I think you need to lower your goals in life to maybe just getting a job and finding a nice girl maybe getting a bigger place

but I think you have got a long way to go and its gonna be hard and if you don't do something about it now you never will. Life is so very short you can't sit around in self pity you need to get out there and get what u want.

My husband left me 2 weeks ago he has left me in debt and with a young son alot of women would have crumbled but I have kept a perspective on things I have carried on coming to work every day sorted out the debt problems being ther for my son and just generally not let it get to me because if it does i will be a mess i will be laid in a pool of wine drunk makeup everywhere and very bitter.

I'm not going to let him ruin my life i will get through this and this time next year i will make damm sure that my life is better then than it ever was.

I am 29 years old and the world is at my feet I won't to curl up under the ground and stay there but i won't because we only get once chance at this life lets make it the best we can.
