I can't single out John McCain, because no one in politics cares about Veterans.

I am a veteran, and have recieved the worst medical care from the VA possible. I travel outside the VA for medical care now.

Goverment will alway's make promises they will never keep. I don't regret what I've done in my military career, but I do regret how I've been treated by the US Government.

It is possible though not likely. You should consult with a lawyer. I don't think the lawyer will be allowed to approach the VA directly until certain processes are completed but they can tell you what steps to follow. It's possible to find lawyers who will do it at no charge. Also, don't ignore sending a complete accounting of everything to your congressperson and requesting their help. It's amazing what can happen if they take up your case.

The unspeakable evil of these people, to accuse their political enemies of not supporting the troops while they themselves abuse the veterans.

My grandfather's wife is a doctor at the Portland VA. She has great benefits that she will get to keep when she retires. I want to work at the VA as a nurse.
