Why does Obama want wounded soldiers to pay for their own medical care but not lazy welfare people?

We Answered:

If he is still reading the plan then he isn't "wanting" that plan. Your own question answers your question. He doesn't.

Importance of Military Training in Federal Job App?

We Answered:

As you stated earlier, unless you've served 180 days consecutive of active duty/deployed time, nobody in the federal government will take you seriously. It's sad but true, the federal government won't/doesn't look at you like you're a real Soldier.
Veteran status does make a world of difference in the federal job market as they are extremely competitive. You will likely be going up against guys with years of police department, combat or special operations experience, who not only have veteran status, but already know many people in the particular section they are applying for.
Anything that you can do to help yourself is worth it.

Counseling Psychology? Promised 10 points?

We Answered:

maybe it is just me, but i would do this totally differently.

first, i would include ENGINEERING PSYCHOLOGIST (aka Human factors engineer or psychologist as an option. my bias, i know.)

but my reason for recommended a psych major to my friend is because every job out there involves dealing with people, and their behavior, in one way or another. Whatever specific job they choose, knowledge of human behavior will be a plus.

Craig Said:

Why should Americans Veterans vote for Obama?

We Answered:

I'm a Veteran (US Army 1991 - 1999), and Obama will definitely get my vote.

McCain's record on Veterans affairs is horrendous. I can't believe he voted against Webb's GI Bill. That was a no brainer....you have millions putting their lives on hold to risk their lives, and we can't even promise them a college education when they get home? Pathetic.
