Is this a good idea honest answer? We Answered:
On the face of it, it certainly doesn't sound like a bad idea. Alberta has some nice places to live, so why not?Of course, none of us answering actually know you and your wife (at least I don't think so!), so it's difficult to answer such an important, life-changing question for you.

Ft McMurray - Much needed information, Please!?We Answered:
He should look for jobs online before moving to Ft. McMurray. They are so hard up for people he should have no trouble finding a job. Also don't be attracted by large wages, a person making $20/hr is going to find it hard to live in Ft Mac.The oil industry is willing to hire people but if he is serious he should look into the training he will need before he comes here. Does he have his H2S training and First Aid. They are must haves if he is looking for a job in the patch. If he really doesn't know what he is going to do maybe he should try for a job on a drilling rig. Try looking at these companies Ensign Drilling, Nabors Drilling Canada, Precision Drilling, Trail Blazer drilling. Just send them resumes they are still advertising positions.
