Disregard what those douchebags above have to say, their snide comments show how ignorant they are which I'm positively sure, you ain't interested in dealing with right? Lol.

So, I've e-mailed sites for you to check out which might be beneficial to your brother.

Gap year travel- how to plan especially for a trip to australia?

We Answered:

So I assume you ar getting a work holiday visa in either Aus or NZ or both. But why spend such little time there? Aus and NZ could each take a year to really enjoy. And if you are on a WHV you have that to pay for it.

Basically, here is how to do it. Save everything you can right now. When you leave the UK plan on spending only what you are earning while in NZ and Aus. Then when you get to the USA you should have enough funds for your USA trip. Make sense?

As for an apartment??? No way. Get hostels so you dont have to worry about renting and being tied to a contract. In either Aus and NZ you will find jobs all over the place. Many of the better and more fun jobs are going to be away from the cities anyway. Plus it is lower cost of living so you save more. Get a long term hostel room. You'll be glad you did.

And yes you will find jobs very easily as long as you are a hard worker and actually try. In other words, dont be lazy. Many go there thinking jobs will be handed to them. You do have to work for it though.

Cheers!
