Plenty of bars around the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Camden Yards all worth looking at. The Wharf Rat in Pratt Street is my favorite before or after an Orioles game. Great atmosphere and wonderful beers brewed by themselves. They also have a bar in Fells Point.

You'll have the best luck getting an apartment if your parents can co-sign the lease. That means that they'll have to pay the rent if you can't. However, if they're already sending you more money than that, then it's no problem.

You should look at apartments you want and mention to the manager when you're looking that your parents will co-sign the lease. Usually they'll be ok with that but it's best if they tell you before you pay the application fee!

The Hampden / Medfield area is becoming popular among young college grads and professionals without the expense of Mt. Vernon and Canton. The Light Rail can have you in downtown in 10-15 minutes and driving also takes 10-15 minutes.
