Anxiety, worried about money?

We Answered:

Wow, it's almost like I'm reading one of my posts here--cause you and I have similar situations and tend to think very alike! You see, I worry about money like all the time; especially when our economy is going through "The Great Depression-Part 2". I, too, suffer from anxiety disorder and panic a lot. I recently graduated college and have job that doesn't pay year around--I work at Six Flags, from the beginning of April to the end of October. So far, I only work seven months out of the entire year esp while going to school full time which sucks! I'm in graphic design and since the market is tighter than ever, I'm going back to school part time on an internship program. Luckily if all else fails I can go back to Six Flags next year or attend Labor Ready. I feel your pain 100% when it comes to the job search--I've put out countless resumes on Craigslist, Career Builder, etc. I was lucky to get as far as the interview stage, but no luck after follow up. Yea, and just like you, I feel like a worthless piece of sh*t when I get rejections; it's normal to get discouraged after countless tries, but the important thing is to never give up. Don't look at rejection as failure, but a blessing in disguise for something even better to come along. Understand that we are in the worst recession in over 15 years, and unemployment is at record high which makes the job market tougher with only few new jobs created, so don't take it personally and think that you're a bad person when you're turned down. You're a good person with a lot of potential, keep your head up high. Now I suggest that you go out and still celebrate your birthday cause 21 is a big deal, you deserve to have fun! Happy birthday, don't worry, things will get better.

I'm currently on centrelink's 'new start' any way to bypass the dole work?

We Answered:

I got the impression that if you were writing a thesis that this was considered full time work. They shouldn't be pestering you if you can take relevant legal documentation from the University through which you are doing your thesis and let them know that you are busy with that - at least until you have finished writing.

I have a disability and am on a disability support pension and did an undergrad degree and they were happy to leave me alone so long as I gave them documentation from my web portal saying that I was enrolled.

Centrelink send you job search stuff even if you are on a disability support pension. You don't have to go out and do the menial jobs though. I think that that is just to make you keep looking. It is so hard at present as employers can afford to be fussy.

I can't get work even though I have fairly good marks because of my disability and age. You can't legislate for human prejudice. Anti - discrimination legislation only works if people don't want to discriminate.

I wish you well. I think that you will eventually pick up a good job in Brisbane. Depending on what you area of expertise is. Make sure you ring Centrelink and tell them each time that you have an interview. That way they will be convinced that you are looking for work.

Good Luck!!!

Antidepressants take at least 2 weeks to begin reaching the first level of effectiveness (if they are going to be, at least at that dosage).

A previous answer follows:

Use the effective natural core treatments for depression at * http://your-mental-health.8m.com/blank_2… and page B. If using a RECOMMENDED* brand of St. John's Wort, take with meals to avoid possible stomach upsets; check out the websites on St. John's Wort via page B, and if using UP TO 50mg of 5-htp daily in addition (or UP TO 200mg of 5-htp if NOT using the wort) take with a very low protein meal, to maximise the amount crossing the blood/brain barrier, with no, or extremely little protein 2 hrs before, to 2 hrs afterwards. Alternatively, take SAMe with the core treatments, but don't use anything else. View http://www.typeofdepression.org/Cause-Of… & http://curetogether.com/depression/ig/tr…

Note that you can use the core treatments with antidepressants, but none of the herbal remedies, or above supplements.

need money ASAP in a bit of trouble?

We Answered:

If you google need money now, there are a few places where they will lend you up to $1500, even if you dont work or have bad credit (might be harder though) and the interest is really high, but hey if your desperate.....

Or go to Cash Converters with lots and lots and lots of your jewelry and you can put it on loan, interest rate is also really really really high.
