Co Job Search

Edward Said:

Can anyone answer my job search question?

We Answered:

Many sites allow you to place a resume where your name is blocked out, even you email address is encrypted to preventa current employer from seeing it.

Only post your resume on sites that allow that,

Good luck!

Hugh Said:

I live in North Carolina and want to relocate to Boulder, CO with a job when I get there. Any good Tips?

We Answered:

The best way to job search really depending on the type of job you are looking for.

Service related jobs are best to apply once you are there. These are most likely not advertised on national web sites. Possibly local paper, at their window display, through personal referrals etc.

You can find a fair number of professional jobs on the Internet. Here is a good one to start, http://boulder.craigslist.org/ However, unless you are outstanding companies aren't likely to contact you until you are local. Because they don't want the extra expenses for interviewing someone from out of town. So make sure you indicate in your cover letter that you will pay to fly yourself for face-to-face interview and relocation if an offer is extended.

Best wishes.

I am from Denver CO and I can't find a job..Where should I search other than Craigslist? Please Help?

We Answered:

I usually just check the sunday paper however there usually aren't many jobs posted there.
you can try a staffing agency....All the ones i've tried are useless though. They sometimes post job openings on their websites.

Here are a list of staffing agencies in your area.
