I work in a college career center, and from what I've seen, the class of 2008 is still getting jobs - it's just a slower process this year and easy to get discouraged.Make sure you use the resources your school has to offer like their alumni databases, post-grad opportunities, and access to counselors.

I graduated in May of 2006 and applied for jobs all over the country and overseas. Finally, I found one six months later that I love. Good luck, it takes a lot of work and keep those connections you made in college they ended up being very valuable for me. My friend from college who I met in class helped me land my current job!! The road to a great job is sometimes rough, but don't give up!
