Full Time Jobs

Tracy Said:

How do you get sleep when working 2 full time jobs?

We Answered:

There are some great answers here on this board. It's nice to see others have done this and survived.

Adjust your diet - lose the coffee, sodas, junk food. And if the energy drinks/power bars work for you, definitely consider them. Try to eat a good hearty lunch midday. Don't skimp on food.

I'm not sure your have scheduled enough sleep time. You're going to need a minimum 4 hrs of sleep, uninterrupted. "Trick" your brain - change into pjs, darken the room, cool temp not warm in the room, maybe even a sound machine if you can sleep with one. Devote yourself to that sleep time but don't rush into the house fullspeed and expect to sleep right away. I don't recommend sleeping pills of any kind.

Definitely trim your "prep" time down - short hair, little makeup, quick change clothes. And do eat breakfast

Good luck and take care of yourself...

what are the best paying full time jobs for me?

We Answered:

Brother, you have a whole lott of the same hard-working, low paying, benefit deficient jobs to come unless you make the change and seek different. I would say that a federal, city and county or state job can give you a good start. Also as far as high pay you can never beat in the private sector, long shoremen pay (dock workers) for the average guy.

Owning your own business is going to give you the most benefits and rewards in the long run if you choose the right type of business (being married to your business - with no free time is no fun either). Of coarse you will be responsible for everything, but then you can afford to do those things because you're making a killing!

Yvonne Said:

Do full time jobs have to offer health insurance?

We Answered:

I am an insurance broker. Employers are not currently required to offer health insurance or any other employee benefit. However, many companies do offer health insurance because their competitors do, or because the employer simply thinks that it is the right way to treat employees (and family members.) In addition, some employers pay the whole monthly premium, while others ask you to pay part of the cost through payroll deduction - this is especially true if you work part-time.

What are full-time jobs I can get with a bachelors degree in political science?

We Answered:

a nurse?

Donald Said:

What types of jobs hire people for full time positions with little experience or that provide training?

We Answered:

Since you want to be a Nurse you should do a healthcare job. Try working at an assisted living facility, you don't need any degree to be a basic caregiver for the elderly or mentally handicapped and it will give you a little experience in the healthcare field.
