It would help if you informed us what type of work you are looking for. There are job sites specifically tailored for certain types of jobs.

Did anyone ever get hired by using a online job search engine? We Answered:
You have to keep in mind that employers in online engines typically get a large number of resumes for a posting. The key thing is to make sure the employer knows that you are interested in their specific job instead of just blasting out your resume figuring that it will match something. Take a close look at the job posting and your resume. Is there something in your resume that you can emphasize to attract attention? My resume includes a "Summary of Accomplishments" at the top. This works well because I can adjust what is in that area to bring the most important items for the particular job to the top and get the most notice. If your qualifications are buried in the resume, they may never even get that far. Most job engines allow you to keep a number of resumes and pick which one to send when you apply, allowing you to tailor your resume to match. This will also help get through automated filters based on keywords, the more you tailor your resume, the better match you will be. Please keep in mind that I am not saying to lie, just to emphasize what makes you right for the job.Irene Said:

Best Job Search Engines?We Answered:
There are a number of great job search sites on the web, and yahoo hotjobs, monster and careerbuilder are the 3 biggest. There is also a site called TheOnlineBeat.com ( http://www.theonlinebeat.com ) where you can search 5 job boards at once with only entering your job description and location one time. It searches some of the bigger sites listed above, but it also caters to some that you may not have heard of.
