Shawn Said:How/Where to get a job at age 16?
We Answered:Delivering newspapers is a good way to start out. Also babysitting or asking neighbors to get paid to do chores. I used to caddy at the golf course, but am not sure if they have caddies anymore.
Another good place to find odd jobs for young people is at a community college. They often have employment centers where people can call in and post jobs for students. I got some house cleaning jobs that way when I was young.
Yolanda Said:Jobs for 16 year olds?
We Answered:When I was sixteen, I just went door to door and asked if the places were hiring or if there were any part-time job openings. If they said yes then I would ask for an application to fill out on the spot preferably. Bring a black ink pen and find out what information you need to fill out the applications. Dress formal but you don't have to dress very formal.

Alexander Said:How to ask for a job (16 year old) and some other questions?
We Answered:1) Yes. Be very polite and remember to say please and thank you.
2) It usually is. Depending on how the job market is in your area you could get one any time from right away to six months from now.
3) You can do either. Give it to any available cashier or person at the front.
4) You get interviewed whenever there is an opening and they are looking at the applicants.
5) I've never worked in fast food, so I can't say.
6) It is rather hard, but you just have to keep on passing out resumes and filling out applications. Be persistent and your hard work will pay off!
