Are there any job search sites that allow a search for employer posted vacancies only and exclude agencies?

We Answered:

I think www.monster.co.uk - you can also add your CV and potential employers can look at your CV and contact you...

Jackie Said:

How do I search for a job in Sevierville and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, where are the employment agencies?

We Answered:

Since you are a Yahoo user, why not try "Yahoo Jobs" or Yahoo Hot Jobs"? There will be many job listings in the area. Employment agencies also post jobs on this site, so you will get the names of some of the local agencies.

Good luck with your search.

Hi! I heard that some employment agencies can help u find a job and they charge u after they find u a job?

We Answered:

I am a recruitment consultant in Australia (although I recruit for Education staff) and I can tell you that the company I work for does not charge you, but the employer you are placed with. We charge the employer a percentage of the annual salary of the person that we place. Upon saying that, there are also agencies that will charge a "joining" fee to have them find work for you, or will take a percentage of your wage (although this is usually for temp work).

Basically you need to research a few employment agencies, give them a call and find out which way they operate. If they are a reputable agency they will be upfront about this kind of information.
