Stacey Said:

truck driving in Australia?

We Answered:

I'm sorry to tell you that it is absolutely impossible to get a visa of any kind for Australia as a truck driver or any related occupation. All but one of the driving occupations were specifically removed from eligibility a year or so ago at the request of our trucking unions. On 16th May, the remaining one (heavy truck driver located solely at the mines) was removed along with all other ASCO group 5 to 7 occupations and they are no longer eligible for even regional employer sponsorship.

Unless you qualify for a working holiday visa by being aged between 18 and 30 from an eligible country, I'm afraid that all options are now closed to you.

yes of course! bas we dont call it nursery, child care/day care or kinder or watev.

4- will I have a medical insurance when I arrive to AUS?(health insurance)
this you gotta apply and pay for and your covered with medicare, so things like doc appointments x rays blood tests are all free with medicare

5- how much to pay for food / day?
depends on how much you buy

6- what is the taxes % that will be deducted from monthly salary?
i think this depends on how much you earn. only from a certain amount do they start deducting. but its pretty low so i think taxes would be deducted from you

you should find more info on taxes on this website

http://realestate.com.au (housing)
http://www.medicareaustralia.gov.au/ (medicare)
and if ur sooooo unlucky and you dont get a job you can always apply for centrelink, where the government pays you money or at least your daughter every fortnight

and like if you have another child the government will pay you $5000 baby bonus

Eleanor Said:

How do I go about getting a job as a truck driver on a mine site?

We Answered:

Your chances of being hired on a mine site with no experience are pretty slim I'm sorry to say. Most mines are union, and they will hire from within the union, and the union will add people to their list based on experience, previous employers, etc.
You may want to get your truck license and get a couple years driving under your belt first, then join the union that is in the mine you want to work at(which can be expensive), then wait for your time to come to get called for a driving job at the mine.
I wish you luck.
