Best resources to find Customer Services jobs in the Bay Area?We Answered:
Yahoo jobs to start. Then target a few major companies to see if you can find any openings that suit your geographic needs. The Bay Area is a pretty big place.Francis Said:
How do you obtain a job in an area you don't live in?We Answered:
Nearly always, you need to go in person to the prospective places of employment for personal interviews. However, if you could find a company with branch offices in both Pennsylvania and San Francisco, you might be able to do your interview locally. There are national job opportunity databases, such as Monster, available on the Internet. If you are unfamiliar with these, your local government employment office should be able to put you on the right track, or even help you locate the kind of companies I mentioned. You will need a resume - which you can prepare online with assistance at websites like Monster. You will also need some idea of the kinds of jobs you would be comfortable with. Here again, you can get help online or at the employment office. (You might want to take an aptitude test.) Another alternative is to take a job in Pennsylfvania with a national company as I described, prove yourself to your employer, and after a year or so, apply from within for a transfer to their San Francisco operation. I wish you the best of luck.Earl Said:

Where are there no background checks for a job in the San Francisco Bay Area?We Answered:
Every employer will do some sort of background check even if it is just verifying previous employment. You will get less of a background check at a small company than you will if you are applying to a major corporation but they will almost all check some or part of your history. I am not sure what this has to do with you helping a friend with a record search for a job, but I hope it helps.Laura Said:
Is there any online listing for yoga instructor jobs in the bay area? I dont know where to start my search.?We Answered:
Are you looking for a full-time or a part-time job?I did a quick search of a couple of sites, and the only one that had any listings for yoga instructors was the San Francisco Bay part of Craigslist.org.
See the search results on this page, which searched through the job postings -

See the search results on this page, which searched through the "gigs" (short term jobs) -

With Craigslist, the postings are organized with the newest at the top and the oldest at the bottom. The postings drop off the bottom of the list after 30 days, so you need to run these searches every couple of days.
Good luck!
