Reality check time. You're not going to find a 1 month rental cheap on the cape unless it's a room. You can try Craigslist, but... Now, about the jobs part. By now, all the "summer jobs" (less than usual due to the economy) are filled. Don't expect to just show up and find a job right away because that just isn't going to happen. There's already people in line for any job that opens up.
