Gordon Said:

Looking for a job. Suggestions?

We Answered:

I think you would like what I do. I work for a program called ChaCha! They don't pay much but its something. If you have internet access, that's a plus. You must be 18 years old and have a flexible schedule. People send questions via text and you answer them from the internet. Its great!

To become a guide go to www.becomeaguide.chacha.com. Please use me as a referral babybluekisses2008@yahoo.com. Put my e-mail in the referral box.

Also, try opinionplace.com, they're the only legit survey website that has paid me in the past via paypal. They also offer miles and gift cards.

Resume put on file, should I continue to pursue?

We Answered:

If they said they're reviewing the applications in April, then it means that is when they are reviewing applications. I think it's too soon to be so aggressively 'proactive' at this point. Send a letter thanking them for their consideration. Sometime in mid to late March, you can send another letter reiterating your interest in the position, and it couldn't hurt to try for a meeting with the manager. But I suggest still pursuing other opportunities now, because if that falls through, you will have waited a long time for nothing.

Sean Said:

First DUI, should I expect jail time?

We Answered:

No one cares about the details.

"First DUI conviction: A fine between $600 to $1,000; 5 days to 1 year in jail; between 48 and 96 hours of community service; and, 12 points against your license."

Colorado does not screw around with DUI's. That's what the law change reflects. It largely deals with multiple offenders though.

You need an attorney. Colorado DUI's show up on your criminal record, so you need to be convicted of something NOT that. Jail time can absolutely come before .2. Do I think you'll get that? Probably not since you are trying to do the right thing by classes. BUT leave the excuse for driving at the door. In my experience with Colorado judges (Denver specifically and I've had plenty) they will not give jail time for first offenders if you own what you did and seem willing to make it right. I assume that you are sorry and know why it's wrong? If so, that attitude comes across nicely.

Moving to Denver, Colorado?

We Answered:

The Ventana that I've seen is right along I-25, near Colorado Blvd. It doesn't look very nice at all from the outside. Keep looking. Check out the Mayfair area. I think apartments in that area are pretty reasonable in price.
