My guess would be that there are no current job openings in Halifax.Bessie Said:
Should I move without getting a job first? We Answered:
Well, I guess it depends on how much money you have saved up. Being as though you are just finishing up college, you probably don't have a lot saved. Even if you do have a lot of money saved, I would say wait until you get a job. I am assuming you really don't have much experience in whatever it is you went to school for and employers are most likely going to breeze right over your resume... especially with the economy the way it is right now. There are a lot of qualified and over-qualified people going for jobs right now. And if you can move to Halifax, then why is it too far to interview? You are just going to have to make a sacrafice and cough up the $$ to fly out there to interview. It's better than spending all your savings and signing a lease on a place that you can't afford one or two months down the road, and then end up moving back home. Better safe than sorry!
