Qualifications for paralegal in Vancouver BC? Online paralegal courses? We Answered:
What a coincidence! I live in BC and was busy Googling Para-Legal Courses when I saw your question. First of all, you should define what you mean by para-legal...legal admin or para-legal (more specialized). I have just enrolled in a Legal Admin Certification online offered through the BC Learning Portal and Capilano College (North Vancouver) http://www.capcollege.bc.ca/future/calendar/current/business/legaladmin/legaladmin.html . You can do all the courses online and the requirements are that you complete everything within three years of registering. Access to the Para-Legal Programme which is offered at the Capilano College campus (classroom attendance required) requires previous legal office experience. My suggestion is that you contact Diane Blaney at the Legal Admin Cert Programme (her contact information is available on that link I posted) so that she can better advise you. Logically, I would think you would have to do the Legal Admin Cert because it is all based in Canadian law and the Canadian legal system. Good luck!Peggy Said:
going to Canada BC looking for a job?We Answered:
First of all, you need to apply for a work permit and possibly a temporary resident visa BEFORE you go to Canada. If you show up at the border with the same explanation as you give here, you will probably be denied entry into Canada.

adhd +job search= i need some tips?We Answered:
Don't tell your job you have adhd. They don't need to know. Its something private, and don't give them a chance to not take you. Just suck it up and go. ADHD can't be too hindering.Chris Said:

be persistent. try filling out applications in person. dress up some and bring your resume with. never pick up an application be sure to fill it out there ( bring a cheat sheet if necessary). unless they send you a card that says we are not hiring then call them back to check on your application. good luck! maybe it will get better after the new yearIda Said:
