Job Search In New York

Terry Said:

if the college i graduate from is not accredited how will this effect my job search in new york state?

We Answered:

If you knew a school was unaccredited going in, your degree will carry only slightly more weight with employers than a diploma drawn on a cocktail napkin in crayon. (If it was accredited at the time you attended and lost its accreditation later, you'll still be at a disadvantage, but you can probably manage.)

Diana Said:

Is it possible to find a job in New York before moving?

We Answered:

It all depends on your chosen career. The city's job outlook is quite poor right now. If you have a friend you can stay with for a few weeks while you job search that may help.

Cecil Said:

Where is the best area in New York to searching for a job?

We Answered:

Find the busiest area for tourists that has food that is as affordable as possible as things in N.Y. are costly.
Possibly a hot dog franchiser needs summer workers for their stands.
