You can be a paper person by handing out the newspaper every day.Clifton Said:
Getting kicked out.. again?We Answered:
No! Don't spend your money saved - for a holiday when your step-dad is kicking you out and not caring if your living on the streets! Talk to someone, save the money, tell them what's happening, and then get out of depression. After, speak to someone who guides jobs or something, and out of that 6grand try and make 6 million and rub it in your step-dads face :). But don't live on the street! Too dangerous, talk to your mum and ask why she's not defending you when your step-dad was kicking you out at only 18-only when you finished highschool , think about uni or something! But that's well out of the line trying to kick you out of the house without knowing where your going to move on with your life! Somehow, let me know what happens! :)Margie Said:
Help! Homeless in Utah what can I do can anyone suggest any resources for a female 20yrs old. I cant help her.?We Answered:
You're very kind to take her in. I would get on the internet and start searching for resources. First I would go to your county's website and look for links or phone numbers there. I bet if you start calling around you may find something. I don't know if you live in or near a big city, but I would think there would be a lot more resources the closer you are to a large city. So, maybe you could find some programs in the nearest big city for her. Also, you may want to go on Craigslist and see if someone is looking for live in domestic help for an elderly person or live in nanny. You could also post an ad there and state the same thing you said here. Someone may see it and be able to give you the info. you need. Good luck to you both.Dwayne Said:
What's the best job board that is search-able by by posted salary? We Answered:
You are right that scammers have infiltrated all the job search sites. Even Craigslist. Try www.monster.com and www.careerbuilder.com and get issues of the New York Times at the library. The actual salaries are disappearing from the info..Lucy Said:

How much to save for moving far away?We Answered:
More is always better, especially since you will be moving before you have found a job and in the middle of a terrible recession. In fact moving before you have a job may be a bad idea for several reasons. First of all it may be hard finding a landlord willing to rent to you while you are unemployed. Secondly, I'm assuming that you must have some sort of support system (family/friends) in Ohio. But would you have the same in Utah? Finally, it's possible that you may find job opportunities in another part of the country.
Why not include a remote job search as part of the arrangements that you handle online and via the phone before moving? Having a job lined up in advance will certainly lower the reserve requirements you need to move.
