Moral Dilemma: Started New Job, Got better offer. What to do?We Answered:
Ultimately your decision.Don't mention the other deal until you know what the pay will be.
Then sit down and do your own research into the other company. How is their cashflow? what securities and assets? Do they have a fighting chance to make it?
Then sit down and look at your own financial situation: Do you have enough cash reserves to make it over another long period of unemployment? Can you afford this gamble? Should you stay with the existing company and rebuilt your emergency funds before you start looking for the "high risk/high pay" venture?
Always look out for yourself. "Loyalty" only gets you so far. But a sound strategy that insures you have the necessary cash reserves before you jump into the high risk job.... is your first priority.

which is the smarter thing to do?We Answered:
At this time of lay offs, I would be very careful about changing jobs. now., unless it's an offer you can't resist in terms of salary, growth potential and security. Once the fiscal situation is resolved you would be safer in expanding your horizons. Lots of luck.Ramona Said:
What is the best job search site for Phoenix, AZ?We Answered:
Careerbuilder has lots of listings, but also has such high volume that it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle (in my experience) if you don't follow up and be persistent. Hence, using a paid site which narrows the applicant pool and increases interview chances, but Ladders is also higher level jobs. I wouldn't count out local employment agencies either.Pauline Said:

What job is best for me with an B.S. in Business Administration with no experience? We Answered:
You need to be patient. One year of experience does not entitle you to a promotion. You are clearly unhappy with this company. The only advice I can offer is to keep applying elsewhere. With time and perseverence that something better will come along. Have a little more faith in yourself too.
Get out and join some networking organizations, volunteer your time and abilities, get yourself, your name and skills out into the community, and that will also go a long way to getting you into a better job.
