The current state of society in England..?We Answered:
The day society say immoral ways of life and being too laid back as 'the Modern hing' was the day two words popped up to describe our society "messed-up". You can't criticize anything or any one any more or you'll offend them or be judging them, even if you're right. We but other cultures above our own, celebrate them but not our own ( multiculturalism isn't bad, but it is when we forget our own culture) and deem our polite, sophisticated culture as 'old fashioned' and swaps it for such things as tracksuits, binge drinking etc.And we've no class anymore. Shame really. But I totally here you out. Of course there are the good things, but that's rare.

Newcastle upon Tyne area- Exiled Geordie, I want to come back?We Answered:
Of course you'll be welcome back. Not sure when the last to you would have visited, but I imagine things have changed dramatically since the 1970's. The population is much more diverse than it used to be (southerners, foreigners, anyone you can imagine) and most people seem to settle down fine.
We have the Baltic to cater for your wife's art needs and the Sage for all types of classical music. There really are few better venues around for either. As for yourself, I know Workie Ticket is still on the go too.
Tynemouth, Cullercoats and Whitley Bay are all considered to be pretty decent area's. Not sure what they were like in the Seventies as I'm an Eighties child, but in general, the whole of Newcastle is on the up and up.
You could do much worse than settle down back up here and the welcome will always be a warm one.

I am from Newcastle, I am desperate for a job, can any one help me out or guide me how can i search for a job?We Answered:
When I was looking for work in a hurry in Newcastle a little while ago, I got a copy of the Yellow Pages and rang every employment agency that was listed. There was at least forty that were suitable for me. They'll usually ask you to email your CV, but tell them over the phone that you are desperate for a job, what you are willing to do, what experience and what qualifications you have. That might speed things up a bit.It might take a while to send out a large volume of CV's and covering letters, but it's worth giving yourself as many opportunities as possible. It should take about a day to phone around all the agencies and send off your details to all that are looking for candidates like you. I know that there are a few that are looking for law graduates (you'll have to look at the Yellow Pages to find out which ones are) and I know that Manpower, Office Angels and Kelly Services are looking for people with admin experience. I'd recommend Manpower as they take less of a cut of your pay.
If you're looking for short term work in a hurry, it would be a good idea to do this. I got about ten job offers in a week when I did this.
Have a look in the Chronicle tommorrow. They have a big section of job adverts of all kinds on Thursdays and a list of a some of the job agencies and their contact details are included at the back of that section too.
Have a look on the NHS jobs website, and also on Newcastle councils website. They often advertise for plenty of admin staff throughout the area.
Alternatively, just take a wander around the city centre with a couple of dozen copies of your CV and drop them into shops that are advertising for staff. There's usually quite a few looking to fill vacancies quickly.
Good luck.
