Where are you moving from? Are you already a British citizen? If not, you need to apply for the proper work permits otherwise you can't be employed.

However, if you have the right to work in Britain, and you want to work in restaurants etc, you should probably go in and speak to the manager of the branch who can give you details of any vacancies.

There are also sites like totaljobs, gumtree, reed, guardianjobs (and many more) who list plenty of jobs. Good luck!
