Andrea Said:

Is $7,000 enough money to MOVE to LOS ANGELES without a job??

We Answered:

Basically, you have enough funds to see you through six or seven months (in reality, four or five months is more like it) if you don't overspend or have any emergencies (medical or otherwise). Stick to a budget and just use it for essentials (that's gonna be hard to do).
So, it all comes down to how long it takes you to get a job and, more importantly, to get your first paycheck.

Your car may be paid for but, don't forget the mandatory Car Insurance you'll be required to have (I don't know the deal in Michigan)...plus your auto-registration and tags.

I hope you've found some places you might like to be employed in L. A. and have sent out your Resume' and Letter of Introduction in advance so you can follow up as soon as you get there?
Otherwise, you might have a long row to hoe.

Where are the jobs in los angeles, ca ???!!!?

We Answered:

not meaning to be negative but unemployment in the state of california is at 14%, the second highest in the nation, and in the city of los angeles its more like 20-25%. an average unemployment rate in a state is usually between 5-8%. you might want to consider moving somewhere with a lower unemployment rate. i know 3 friends in los angeles who have been looking for jobs for over 2 years now and they both have degrees and experience. good luck! maybe you could try finding janitorial work or walmart or fas food or something so you have some income. but you may want to consider moving. the states with the lowest unemployment rates right now (although they sound lame) are
-nebraska
-minnesota
-kansas
-north dakota
-south dakota
-maine

not the most exciting places but probably better places if you want a career to take off within the next couple of years until the economy picks up. good luck!

Best place to search for jobs in Los Angeles for Customer Service.?

We Answered:

Try Hiremax.com and CareerBuilder.com. Be careful on careerbuilder in that they give you a lot of spam and some offers from dishonest posters. I suggest you use one of those throw-away email addresses so you can keep the junk off your regular email account.
