Yeah, try a monster.com or hotjobs; however, in your case local newspaper would be better:)Mathew Said:
What does the phrase "throughout nation" mean when applying for government Jobs?We Answered:
There's no guarantee that there's a job in Mississippi if it says throughout nation, but it's possible. Whatever the job is, there are vacancies all over the country, so you can apply and then check off the locations that you will accept.Harold Said:
Is my job making me sick?We Answered:
Hope you can get yourself back on track soon. I suggest you look at your local school websites, hospital websites, and see if any industries you think you would like to work for have websites with Careers or Employment listed so you can see if they have openings. It is also not a bad thing to send a resume' to a company, not knowing whether they have an opening or not. Someone may quit just that very day, or soon after and maybe they will remember you resume' and call you. I also suggest you contact either the temp/employment agencies in your area. You will need to take a day or two of vacation to go apply and do testing, but maybe it will help you find something. Good luck.Janet Said:

Could anyone give me advice on how to find an entry level accounting job?We Answered:
If you look for jobs that say Accountant, they're gonna want some years of accounting experience. You need to start off as an Assistant Accountant or equivalent, and learn under someone experienced, especially if the company is a big one.Ronnie Said:
How do I go about moving to a major city?We Answered:
i moved from rhode island to raleigh, Nc 9 months ago,, so really not big city, but from the Northeast to the South and i really just went.i saved up my tax returns and rented a trailer from Penske and away i went, LOL
wheni got here i rented a house and then realized that there was no work in the city that i was living in so i moved closer to Raleigh and now im still here..though i might be going home for a visit next week,,i am a bit homesick.
at any rate what i did was i picked out a few cities (mine were savannah , GA; West palm beach, FL; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, nc; Charleston, SC) and then i took my mom with me (she was a good sport) and i flew to Florida and just drove my way through all the cities that i mentioned,, just checking out the unemployment rates and asking people if thry liked it there, stuff like that..then, i chose NC.
once i knew where i was going to live, i went on craigslist and printed up apartments for the area and then i called and made appt.'s and took yet ANOTHER weekend to fly up and checked them out and chose one, put a department down, and then thats when i rented the penske and drove up and tats about it.
i moved here without a job and that can be really stressful..try to save if u can before you come, or send out your resume with a made up address of somewhere where u want to live, because with this economy NO ONE will look at an out of state resume,,its just too bad of an economy right now, sorry. try to bring a friend, then you wont get as homesick and you can help each other out, ya know?
there is a lot of jobs near baltimore , md? or here in raleigh, nc...also NYC, but the people there arent friendly and its a big city so maybe stay away from there,,,good luck
