This is a page of helpful links - but please also heed the wise response about checking out all programs: especially programs funded by government (fed, state, local - museums, zoos, parks...) and charities, particularly those tied to religious groups. If your brother needs an aide, check out agencies (respite workers can be used to facilitate community interaction/leisure). Local colleges also offer courses to extra-ordinary students (you mention art). Check out volunteer positions, bearing in mind the level of support (if any) he needs.
