Any good job searching website/newspapers for NYC job search ? (beside hotjob, monster, and nytimes)?We Answered:
Networking really works to find a job since most jobs are not posted any where. LinkedIn, Ziggs, ZoomInfo, Jigsaw, etc. provide assistance with finding friends and former co-workers.These are the most effective job sites:
* Indeed.com - http://www.indeed.com
For a quick, comprehensive look at the NYC job market, start here. Indeed is a "job aggregator" which collects jobs from job sites (like Monster, HotJobs, and CareerBuilder, but NOT Craigslist) as well as from employers, newspapers, etc., so you go to one central place to search for the jobs and cover more sites than you even know about.
* Craigslist.org - http://newyork.craigslist.org/
This is the one specified the most often in the last year as the site someone used to successfully find a job.
Craigslist is a giant online classifieds site, broken up by location. The NYC Craigslist is the link above. For each location, employers post "jobs" and "gigs" (which are short-term jobs, like project assignments, that may tide you over until you get a real job).
Jobs are posted in reverse chronological order (newest at the top; oldest at the bottom). See this guide to using Craigslist to find a job for help - http://www.job-hunt.org/onlinejobsearchg…
* Job-Hunt.org - http://www.job-hunt.org/jobs/newyork.sht…
With over 8,300 links to employers and career resources, Job-Hunt will help you identify possible employers and also job search networking and local support groups to help you with your networking.
The NY section of Job-Hunt has nearly 300 links to local job sites, local employers, local job search support groups, etc.
Good luck with your job search!

I'm relocating from NYC to Kuwait. Any suggestions on job search? Any myspace for Kuwaiti chicks? Let's go!!!?We Answered:
i'll just tell you good luck. i seriously think you should look for a job before you relocate, otherwise you'll be classified as a local hire and you won't get any airline tickets, housing benefits etc...what is your educational background? do you have a degree? if so, you could try teaching. good benefits and lots of paid vacations.
as for dating kuwaiti girls.. good luck on that as well. the majority of kuwaiti girls don't date. but you could try facebook if you want to make contacts with people in kuwait before you go there.
