i don';t care if you have a degree in
English, Psych or RedSoxology. You have accomplished the following:
## you have proved you can start something and finish it. You completed 120+ credit hours along the line, passing them all with a decent grade. maybe you had a D or two, but you got enough B's to wipe them out.
##You proved you can get through some rough times. You had some courses which you really struggled through, you were bored to tears by others, and you felt others were absolutely useless. nevertheless, you muddled through and got a passing grade.
## If you consider a professor as a manager, you showed you can work under different managerial styles. Some profs really inspired you, some were flaming idiots, some were in love with themselves, but you dealt with all of them and won their approval- a passing grade.
@@ Most important, you proved that you can do quality work, produce quality reports, and get them done on time.
Granted, having a BA in English doesn't exactly prepare you for a career in accounting, but what you have done speaks for itself.
Finding a job that uses your education is no easy task, but come on, you got thru four years of college, so what's a little job hunting to someone like you????
Go get "em. you have a hell of a lot to offer.

Yes you can be denied unemployment because you quit your job. You did not work at the new job long enough to qualify for unemployment. You left your job in Oregon because you chose to quit/abandon your job. I know you would not have quit if you knew that the new job was going to lay you off after 3 months. Your previous employer is not going to agree to your unemployment claim because you quit.

Sorry to say, Oregon is an "at-will' employment state. They can fire you for any reason and you can quit for any reason. They aren't doing anything legally 'shady.'

The want you to quit, because if you do, you will almost definitely not be elgible to collect unemployment. When you file, your company has the opportunity to and probably will contest your claim. Since they didn't do anything against the law, and you quit of your own choice, it is unlikely you would win.

However if you stay, you will likely be able to apply for unemployment to cover the reduction in work hours, and you can use the extra time to look for a new and better job.

I applaud your ambition. However...

You, my friend, unfortunately bring very little to the table that an investor wouldn't have - except time. You've got no money, no experience, no credit, no connections and not business savvy to know that this structure is... if you pardon my bluntness... ludicrous. I wouldn't advise putting an ad in the paper as it would be a waste of money.

I would recommend training for a real estate position, title insurance, mortgage company, property management or property development if you are serious about property. Someone will teach you the REAL property game with somebody else's equity and give you a salary too.

Your chance of getting a 50/50 partnership is about zero. Why would somebody trade their equity position for you because you work. You are better off getting a job related to property so that you can learn the ropes.

Honey, he is 19 yrs old without a job and riding around on a bike with a pipe. Court is the last concern that you should have. Sweetie as far as your bad heart it should already be broken.
your son will only get probation. Hopefully conditions of his probation will demand that he gets a job and some counseling for his drug use. He has no job. who's supporting his habit. You need to thank the arresting officer for shedding some light on your sons life. I wonder if your son loves you as much as you love him.
