Wallace Said:

Would you live in Cambridge uk or Australia?

We Answered:

Australia would be my choice remember not all of Australia is what you have described!!! also remember the sun is the same in Cambridge i hope you intend to wear sunscreen if you choose there.
I grow my own vegies here in Aus, the produce is a whole lot better then in the UK.
I really think you have made up your own mind, so why haven't you moved back to Cambridge if you have painted such a glowing picture.?
The words 'MIGHT be job prospects' would be a large deciding factor for me, it's like saying 'I MIGHT win the lottery' and who is to say there isn't the threat of redundancy in the UK?
At the end of the day only you and your O/H can decide what is best for you and your children.

I need to find a part-time job in Cambridge, MA. with benefits. Help!?

We Answered:

Use job search boards such as monster, career builder, etc. as well as the Boston Globe. To get benefits, you typically have to work at least 20 hours per week for minimal benefits and 30 plus for fuller coverage.

FYI: If you are still in school and a full time student you should still be able to get coverage from a parent/guardian until you are 22. After that ends, you have the COBRA option......

jobs in canada :)?

We Answered:

Have you tried to get a job in a kitchen of a restaurant? It's a great place to start because you can learn everything and move into the front of the restaurant. The skills you learn will look good on a resume...time management, multi-tasking, getting along with people, politeness etc.

If you want, try babysitting for people or dog walking....if you have a computer with a printer, you can buy sheets of magnet pages and make little magnet business cards to hand out. People will put them on their frig with your phone number on it to call if they need you. I have known several young people who have gotten jobs with that approach.

There are a lot of potential problems for youngsters in work, many of them legislative, parents and guardians are required to be watchful about that. There is a lot of assistance from the website in the box below on this issue, they also have assistance for all people who are looking for work, or who are required to change careers.
