Part Time Jobs In Leeds

Tyler Said:

where is the best place to look for part time jobs in Leeds?

We Answered:

Check out jobseekers.direct.gov.uk, you might find something there. Also, try not to rely on just the internet, get the numbers of place you'd want to work and call in and ask. The worst thing they can say is no and you never know, you might catch them at the right time just as somebody has quit, been sacked or gone on maternity leave etc.

Also try and speak to a Connexions adviser, they'll be at your local youth centre, they'll be able to point you in the right direction and give you some good advice.

I need a part time job, i live in leeds?

We Answered:

Head to the JobcentrePlus and get another job in retail or sales - using their work-find machines today. They have many part-time and ful time positions. Pop into a local JobcentrePlus, search, print out, and go home to search for more online. Easy.

other great ways is to pick MANY local papers (Guardian, Recruit, Loot, TNT, Metro) and search online but the above advice should do it. Do this everyday not just today and give up -lol it don't work like that.

Looking for a part time job in Leeds?

Try going round shops/cafes/fast food chains eg McDonald's; maybe you could get a Saturday job. However don't expect these to be well-paid. The work is not likely to be very mentally stimulating either!

However, don't forget that you need to think about your long-term future; if you are in Yr11 you will have your GCSEs coming up in a few months & you don't want to jeopardise your prospects by neglecting your studies.

Waitress.
Not very glamourous but you should get some tips if you are really nice to the customers on top of any regular earnings.

Part-Time work?

We Answered:

There are LOADS of shops in Leeds, so:
Write a general CV with your interests, qualifications, work experience
Print lots off
Give them to all the shops in which you'd be happy working - even if they are not advertising for part-time staff

Wait for them to call, offer jobs

I wouldn't really use job sites, they are not very helpful, however I found this site recently and it might be useful to you
