When you had a strictly online relationship with her, you were a fantasy, a good distraction from her crumbling marriage. It is rare that you actually met in person, etc, as that usually doesn't happen, fantasies remain fantasies. You basically were the grass that was greener, an escape for her. The intensity of your physical /actual relationship was like a rebound thing for her. For you, it was genuine, but for her, something different due to her circumstances. Had you met at some point in person before she married, you might be together with 2.5 kids by now, but that's not your story, unfortunately. I say you need to let go of the tangled mess she represents, and find a new gf that isn't involved in a divorce/reconciliation. You are probably an amazing person and you deserve to be with someone who is with you for the right reasons. Good luck!
