Can anyone recommend a site for locating a job search agent or a site which is geared toward professional...?We Answered:
Go with the non-profit agencies and associations and the links aligned to this, which ranges cover your ideals and salary, and considerably centered on the interests and exchange with people over commerce. Organizations such as Opportunity Knocks gives somewhat impressions. Also, there exists a company located in India called tutorvista.com, a young company that may share your interests and have collaboration with professionals in the West, and which found a need and niche that just took off: they certainly work with students in the United States, though I have not yet used their services but have talked to them via email several times, since I want to get back into condition for mathematical-related studies. They may be open to those with your incentive and can suggest things to you.

Is it safe to put your ssn on job search sites? We Answered:
Generally, no, and normally I would say that's a bad sign about the site, BUT (there's the biggest three-letter word in the English language) this a .gov site. The US government isn't in the business of identity theft, so I don't suspect them of any funny business. And being the US Government and the fact that this is a student job site, they could be asking you for it for a legitimate reason -- student loan tracking, or verifying your claim of being a student, for instance.Without seeing exactly what they want it for, I would have to give it a conditional thumbs up.
Hope that helps.

How do I search for new career opportunities without risking the job I have?We Answered:
I do not think searching for new job will affect security of the current job you have. You can manage these things discretely. You can basically get in touch with placement consultants who would obviously not disclose your identity. You can also apply on job portals without giving explicit details. And do not think you current employer would be so naive. They know that in today's situation everyone is searching for better job opportunity , you may be surprised to know that even you CEO could be in that list !
