I NEED A JOB!! someone help me?We Answered:
You can get a job at a local grocery store. Or even a Starbucks. Also any clothing stores will be willing to hire. You cannot look online. apply to every job in Logan, restaurants doctors offices, etc. When you go in to the place you need to be dressed professionally, You need to have a really good resume. Impress them. Try and not stick to a script. Be your self, and do not act like you do not know what your talking about, after filling out the form, call them a couple days later to inform them about how it is coming along. Write a formal letter explaining and saying thank you for the opportunity, This shows them that you are truly interested. Act responsible.Follow these steps as well:
Step1
Check with friends and family to see if they have openings in a family business or find a small, family owned business in your area. There are "mom and pop" businesses in retail, manufacturing and food service that often hire young people with little or no work experience.
Step2
Look for jobs that hire young employees. Fast food restaurants, grocery stores, discount stores and other stores with high employee turnover often hire teenage employees.
Step3
Make a list of your computer skills and bring it with you to fill out job applications. As a 16-year-old, your experience in school and on your home computer may qualify you for data entry, light bookkeeping or word processing jobs.
Step4
List any experiences in volunteer work, babysitting jobs or camp counseling jobs on job applications. Employers want to see you are motivated and can handle responsibility.
Step5
Look at job listings on city and county websites. Libraries, city offices and county attorney offices often look for teenage employees.
Step6
Apply to every job you think you may qualify for. Without prior work experience and only being 16, you need to apply for several positions to increase your chances of getting a job.
Interviewing for a Job
Step1
Accept the interview time suggested when a possible employer calls. If you are unavailable, show your interest by suggesting an alternate time or asking what other interview times are available.
Step2
Arrive 10 minutes early for interviews and call ahead if you are going to be late or need to reschedule your interview.
Step3
Dress nicely for your interview in order to make a good first impression. You should always dress up for an interview, even if the job doesn't require you to dress up.
Step4
Smile and be friendly with everyone you meet when you arrive for the interview. Some employers check with the person who greets you to see how you acted when you arrived.
Step5
Answer all of the questions asked to the best of your knowledge. If you don't know how to do something, say so, but express your interest in learning new tasks.
Step6
Send a thank you note to the interviewer after the meeting. Check back with them after a couple of days by phone to see if the job has been filled. This shows maturity and impresses employers.

Help i'm starting a yet another new job in retail and im scared. ?We Answered:
P. S. Get out of yourself and start thinking about others and the job at hand. Concentrate on trying to be the best employee there. One does this by doing each assignment to the best of their ability but also going the extra mile by helping others in their work or making their job a little better and them a little happier. Do things that are helpful to others and improve the suroundings even if it's only picking up pieces of trash or paper from the floor, helping keep the coffee pot are spick and span, going to another worker buried in work and offer any help you can. Don't gossip or tell lies. Try to compliment others on their work or appearances, ask others for advice sometimes and be the best person you can be. Just concentrate on your work and others and you will be too busy to be nervous or thinking about yourself.Anne Said:

UTSA Engineering. Is it tough? We Answered:
I can't answer specifically about UTSA, but I used to recruit at various engineering schools for Fortune 100 companies when I worked for them as an engineer. I can tell you from my 30 years experience, it ain't the school that makes the engineer. Any accredited school will give you an equivalent degree and an equivalent chance at a first job and a career.Rank often only means it might be harder to get in and cost more for tuition. From a practical standpoint, I don't see why an engineering school's ranking means anything. Maybe they tend to get more government grants for research or endowing chairs. That stuff means little to an undergrad engineering student. As far as "good", UTSA or for that matter, UTA, is as good as North Dakota St or Stanford or Utah or Tuskegee or Vermont or Wisconsin/Madison. They are all accredited and recognized. As for getting a job, a large school in a large population center will attract more recruiters from a wider variety of industries. that is the only real and meaningful difference between schools.
