There is no one site that groups together jobs that might be available in youth hostels in all the different countries in Europe.

I would suggest looking under the terms Human Services.

You may also want to consider looking at the Americorps or V.I.S.T.A. programs. These are federal programs that work with agencies in targetted areas to provide youth and community development services. Also apply as a counselor with Job Corps. They have centers througout the U.S.

Another option is that in many major cities there are temporary agencies that specialize in human service positions. When I did this many years ago I worked primarily in group homes (many of which were with kids).

Pretty much you have to purchase a site, get licensed people and then have the county approve you.

Try to be a manager/assistant manager at retail outfits, restuarants. You can move around a good deal but also sit down at times for paperwork.
If you like animals, vet techs is a good choice, though salary kinda is low.
