They won't expect much from you, but I strongly recommend you go to the library or whatever and start reading as much as possible and get as much knowledge as possible. They will teach you step by step....but learn as much as possible so that you can pick up the steps and remember them. They probably don't expect much because if they did, they wouldn't hire you.

I can say that you're extremely luck to get this opportunity. Most college students don't get that and many don't even get a job after graduation. Accounting is hard..so work hard.

It should help you, some colleges have contacts with companies that take on students after they have finished the course, check to see if yours does that. Biggest problem is, many companies want 10 years experience for first year pay.

Like any other School, Baruch is free to set its own admission criteria. MS programs typically do not require work experience, (unlike MBA programs) and you should have no trouble getting admitted to a good MS program. It does not have to be Baruch, but you should apply there anyway because they may consider your summer work sufficient to warrant admission, especially since you have a good GPA.
