equine work experience?

We Answered:

Look in your local paper etc for stables and riding schools and get into contact with them and ask:) most are glad of a volunteer and will happily have you! Good luck. :)

equestrian work experience in esperance?

We Answered:

The school at which you take your vet course should be willing to assist you in locating someplace for you to intern. Generally that's a given. If not, I would place an ad in a local paper and/or horse forum and make sure that you put something like "vet student seeks volunteer opportunity with horses/cattle" or something like that, so people know that you're serious and not an 8 year old wanting to ride stranger's horses for free. ;) (No offense to anyone that did or does fit that description, of course.)

Tim Said:

Anyone have experience with Equine therapy?

We Answered:

I have worked with several kids in equine therapy. Only one of whom was autistic, the rest had severe cognitive impairments. I have also seen "normal" children participate with their siblings, and think that this therapy would be beneficial for all children.

Adam Said:

What can I do about my work experience with horses now im pregnant?

We Answered:

I would chat to your doctor to see how long you can ride for when pregnant, and depending on his advise i woudl speak to your course administrators. If you didnt know you were pregnant when you applied and were accepted for the course, then it seems very unfair that they can fail you for it - maybe there are some allowances they can make (ie you can do as much as you can, and then fully compelte it after the baby is born?)

Good luck x
