For fashion you need to start out in big cities like London, Paris, or Milan. In the states, you'd start out as an editorial assistannt at about $25,000 a year and work your way up through the ranks. In the states, once again you'll need a four-year college degree with experience working internships. You should at least work one if not two internships during you college career. At first editorial assistance handle emails, open envelopes, answer telephones. Unless you have a relative in the profession you have to start on the bottom rung.

You could become a like P.A of a designer or a P.A of the P.A coz then you get to see what goes on and u might see some shows or somin and if your lucky you could get a summer job (like me).
