Lewis Said:

can you tell me w/c job/employment agency on the net is accredited or authorize?

We Answered:

There is no such thing as "accredited" or "authorized" for these sites - but reputations do say something.

Since you didn't say what particular career you want, I'll suggest general job sites that are well-known and trusted - BUT, you should know that you can't be protected from scammers who find your resume, so use a post-office address and an e-mail address that you can get rid of after your job search ends.

Samuel Said:

I've been considering finding a job with an employment agency. What should I expect?

We Answered:

An agency is a good choice. They don't require you to accept any long term position if you don't want to but they will ask that you commit to complete any assignment you do accept. Most jobs run 2 weeks though some run for months. While there is a difference between what you are paid and what your employer is paying them for your services but they will quote you the salary on any position they offer and you receive that in full (less taxes).

One of the best things about working through an agency is that it can often lead to a permanent spot. In fact, many of the jobs agencies have are called temp-to-perm. For these positions, once a trial period (usually 3 months) is completed satisfactorily as a temporary employee of the agency the company hires you outright. Some very good jobs are filled this way and it is a great way to acquire experience in a number of areas. Congratulations on your decision and good luck!
