Now even those with degrees are not finding good jobs.

What did we Americans think would happen to our jobs when companies stopped buying American suppliers, and started off shoring their own departments? Not to mention that BS lawsuits are costing us thousands of jobs a year. Great deal for the one person who gets the payout (and of course the lawyers, they always win) but really BAD for any American who wants a good job for themselves or their children.

I fear we are becoming a third world country my friends.

We Answered:

"General contractor" doesn't mean he knows plumbing, which you already found out. Some guys just like fixing things and then won't tell you when they're in over their heads. At least you know he's not a plumber. I know he was trying to do you a favor by helping you and saving you money. However, I'd make him help you pay. He broke it.

You also may want to contact another plumber to get a second or even third opinion. Each plumber will quote you a different amount. Good luck!
