Carla Said:
Is there any sites that advertise jobs that student are likely to get?We Answered:
Sometimes, jobs are advertised through the college/university websites in the jobs/careers section. That's how I got my holiday job, and there were loads for students from temporary to permanent and part time to full time.Gary Said:
What student jobs should I look for at a major university, besides scrubbing toilets? ?We Answered:
Given some of your previous questions, I suggest that you look for a relatively low stress job such as library assistant, data entry, or other clerical-type positions. Some jobs such as library work can be done after hours when dealing with other people is at a minimum. There is one thing to consider: I realize that janitorial jobs aren't exactly glamorous, but they are about as low-stress as any job ever gets to be. You put in your evening hours, go home, and leave work at work. The job doesn't follow you home or make demands on you that can be worrisome.
Good luck with the job hunt. . .I hope you find something that will meet your needs and pay the bills.
Edit:
Under the circumstances, I don't suggest Resident Advisor (RA) positions for you. That job can involve a lot of stress.
