Jobs For Work Experience

Debbie Said:

How do you include Restaurant jobs in the work experience section of a resume?

We Answered:

shut up whiskers!!!!!you got no clue restaurant jobs are always demanding and stressful it takes an intelligent person to serve an idiot who thinks hes smarter than evryone else and comes in to the rest with no class because they think anyone with a 5th grade education can do your job!
in europe and france you need a masters degree to work in 5 star michelin estasblishments and in nyc you need a bs to be a waiter and a master to be a manager . that being said all you need to do is say and highlight that you were part of the service team and highlite how you were able to work in team enviorment, and deal with unexpected problem this will show you are a quck thinker can solve situations or problems on your own ,service support team member , just remember to specify what you did to make the rest better and how you organized your self in this job it will be helpful specially if you have to deal with office idiots and office politics

Shannon Said:

doing work experience at school anyone no any high paid jobs for work experience i will do anything?

We Answered:

You should not get paid for work experience.

I suggest you try rining a few places you are interested in, or ask the school's work experience co-ordinator for suggestions.

Kathy Said:

How do you gain job experience when ALL JOBS require work experience?

We Answered:

By volunteering. You had 4 yrs to volunteer a few hours in the field of your study.
Do an internship

Keith Said:

Does anyone know what record labels or radio stations give people work experience?

We Answered:

Try asking a local radio DJ if he'd like you to help him out around the station. Or even see if they'll let you volunteer at the place and help out a little. In the music industry, making it to the top isn't as simple as it is with a lot of other jobs where you just train and pick up a job-- competition is fierce and jobs are scarce, so it really comes down to WHO you know, not what you know. So like I said, start by just offering to help out a worker in the position you want to go into. I'm sure they'd be willing to help you out! :)
