NHS Nurse uniforms within the hospital? We Answered:
This is a really huge problem within the NHS, as not only every hospital is completely different, not only can patients not recognise who is who, but now bloody cleaners/hairdressers/health and beauty students/any tom dick and harry are getting very similar uniforms too!!!!!! It is ridiculous.Basically the higher grade charge nurses/matrons etc wear some form of dark blue uniform, wether striped or plain, or a coloured eppaulette on a white tunic.
Staff nurses wear light blue uniforms, again some plain, some striped, etc.
Student nurses wear white/grey uniforms (but there are other variations).
Auxilliaries have a wide range of colours, from pink, to purple, to white, you name it.
Cadets often wear green. (But again this can change with the trust). Hope this helps?

How can I get a placement in an NHS lab?We Answered:
Contact your local Information Advice Guidance worker - you can find their details at the library or your local prospects office. The IAG worker should be able to find out for you any qualifications you need and any opportunities for in house training that are available
Good luck

Are the NHS nurse placements - morally balanced? We Answered:
you can refuse on religious grounds but those religious grounds wouldn't apply too a criminal being treated infact it would be very unchristian to refuse a criminal treatment, seems fine to me.The true civilization is where every man gives to every other every right that he claims for himself. Robert Ingersoll (1833 - 1899)
The issue is with religion not the criminal imo.

How can I get a placement in an NHS laboratory? We Answered:
I thought that the NHS had its own in house recruitment agency for temporary work - I've known people before who have worked in labs for the NHS through them but I can't remember their name or find it in a search so maybe they do things dfferently now. You can apply for jobs on the NHS website by location and job title http://www.jobs.nhs.uk/ or I found you a list of agencies on the NHS preferred list. I used to recruit for the NHS and I know they don't divert from this list so you might want to check out a few of them. Try this link: http://www.nhsemployers.org/workforce/wo…Just make it clear to the agency you want a YEARS worth of work, so they don't send you on a 5 day assignment and that's it. Good luck !!
