Resume for a high school student w/o work experience? We Answered:
Look online for a resume template. Check out a few, until you find one you like. Here's a link.Community service counts as related experience.......think hard and note the dates.
Helping in your parents' hair salon counts as job experience.
Remember to include a section on hobbies and interests, sports, etc.
Under references, mention your community service supervisor, your parents, and you could include a personal reference, such as a teacher or family friend. Be sure you ask your references' permission in advance, so that if a prospective employer contacts them, they will land on their feet and give you a good review.
If you are a student, tell the manager of the yoghurt place what days and hours you are available. This is important in order to avoid school schedule conflicts.
Good luck.

19 year old High school Student no Work Experience, what should i put on Resume? We Answered:
I would google "resume help" and find out what kind of things are most admirable on a resume, even when there isn't much to put on it... and whatever you did in school, use that.. if you had great grades say something like (in better words) "my high school grades reflect my hard work and dedication..".You said you volunteered, use that and say something about being passionate, caring and how it displays responsibility and work ethic.
Just don't lie and use what you have going for you to show that even though you don't have "working world" experience, that you are mature enough and ready to take on the "working world"
of course, I'd word it all better & use your better judgement ;)
Hope it works out for you!

what would be a good objective for a high school student on their resume with no work experience? We Answered:
It depends on what you're going for. If you're going to college, then found a club, join a sport, volunteer at a community center. You need to show that you're a leader and did more in high school than study and goof around. If you just want a resume for a job, then definitely start working now and get it on your resume. If you can get promoted to supervisor by the time you're out of high school then it looks like you're destined for management.

How does one with no work experience make a resume? We Answered:
You have valuable experience, you just may not have paid employment. My suggestion: design a functional resume/CV that describes committees or other organized team efforts where you made a contribution. Explain what you learned about the experience: working with deadlines, dealing with difficult teammates, organizing your work, juggling multiple priorities, making presentations in class. Employers are looking for people who are creative problem solvers, dedicated to completing a task, who show up on time, ready to be engaged in the work. All of those skills can be demonstrated by things you did in college.
As far as the answer to "why do you want to work with us", the answer cannot be "Because I have gigantic student loans I need to pay off and I need cash". :-) Your answer needs to show that you know something about the company you're interviewing with, and that you understand how you might be able to contribute to what they do. Something like "I know that your company has been pursuing the X-initiative, and I believe that my skills in Y would be valuable on that team".
Remember that the interview is your opportunity to ensure that the company suits you as well. I turned down a job in my early career that would have paid me 40% more than I was making, but from corporate culture perspective, it didn't fit me at all.
One interview tip: You can learn a lot if you ask the interviewer: "Tell me about the kind of person who would be successful in this job" and "Is this position replacing someone, and if so, what happened to them?". You're looking for indications that the job has growth opportunities (the person was promoted) and that they're not expecting someone to make presentations to 100 people if you're not comfortable with that, for example.
Good luck with your interviewing!
