Summer Employment Opportunities

Denise Said:

Are there employment opportunities for Fiddle players at Disney World?

We Answered:

There may be a place for you. You never know what entertainment positions will open up in Disney World. Try calling the Disney Audition Entertainer hotline. It will tell you what kinds of jobs Disney is looking for, and you can see if you would fit anywhere on there. It will list talent categories for you as well as audition schedules. Best of luck!

Victoria Said:

What should I do: summer job?

We Answered:

How about go thru online CNA training while working and then once you have completed your training you can start to work in the field. My sister took online CNA training thru Acadamus and loved it. Check them out:

Good luck! I know it can be a bit frustrating but hang in there. :)

Billie Said:

How should I ask if a summer internship position is available given this situation:?

We Answered:

I would submit both the resume and cover letter.

In the cover letter state that you are not looking for employment but an internship for the summer this is depending if you would like to receive pay. If so then state that you are interested in an internship program.

Then I would follow-up within a week and ask to speak with the internship coordinator or someone in charge of the internship program.

Hope this works out for you.

Ron Said:

How do I write an e-mail to employers so that I get a response?

We Answered:

In order to find volunteer opportunities that match your interests, you can contact your local volunteer center. They have all sorts of specific one-time and short-term projects that may match your interests. They can also connect you to local community non-profit agencies that can benefit from your talents.

Through my volunteer center, I work at the local Natural History Museum, leading a group of teens as docents once a month. Your volunteer center can connect you with these and many other agencies.
